OVERVIEW
The 2nd AABIP Advocacy Summit is designed to facilitate an interactive and engaging session between the attendees and our industry partners. The theme of this years event is Implementing new technologies in bronchoscopy practices (economic modeling, downstream revenue, and standardizing practices across a healthcare system).
The AABIP Advocacy Summit will bring together a select group of national experts, medical society leaders, and industry professionals, all with a shared interest in advancing the field of Interventional Pulmonology. This summit serves as a platform for an open exchange of ideas and experiences, with the primary goal of achieving mutually beneficial objectives on advocacy matters. We aim to explore avenues for expanding IP programs and harnessing new services and technologies to enhance IP practices of our members.
The AABIP Board of Directors, along with members of our Advocacy committee will attend the summit. Their presence underscores the significance of this event as a unique opportunity for collaboration and partnership. To foster a meaningful interaction and discussion, we have deliberately limited the number of attendees to 70 individuals. This approach allows for more engaged and productive conversations, distinguishing our summit from the large classroom lecture format.
We are also opening registration to AABIP members at large on a first come, first served basis to participate and experience this interactive and informal session firsthand. AABIP Physician, Trainee, and Clinical Affiliate members are eligible to register to attend this one-day program. Attendees will be responsible for their flights, lodging, food, and beverage. The summit will provide breakfast, refreshments, and lunch for all attendees on the day of the summit.
