Event info

This meeting was started in 1992 by orthopaedic surgeon David A. McQueen, MD, and we are honored to continue his legacy of education, support for research, and communication between opinion leaders and community-based surgeons. The 2021 meeting is dedicated to Lester S. Borden, MD, and Anthony K. Hedley, MD, both of whom passed away earlier this year.

Course Chairs J. Christopher Banwart, MD, and Kenneth A. Greene, MD, have charged the expert faculty with providing fresh insights into the challenges of managing total knee and total hip arthroplasty patients as they address:

  • The latest research on implant designs
  • Ongoing controversies over surgical approaches, new technologies, and more
  • Strategies for managing complex primary and difficult revision procedures

You won’t want to miss the Fireside Chats, a hallmark of this meeting. In an informal setting, you’ll have the opportunity to ask the expert faculty any questions you have about total joint arthroplasty and get answers pertinent to your practice.
