In Light of the Diabetes Epidemic and the High Frequency of Pediatric Chronic Diseases and Growth Disorders, the Mount Sinai Division of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes Seeks to Empower a Broad Array of Clinicians to Provide the Highest Level of Care to People with Diabetes and Disorders of Growth. Participants Will Learn about Pathophysiology, Treatment Goals and Treatment Methods for Diabetes, Endocrine Disorders and Growth Disorders and Will Emerge More Confident Dealing with Diabetes and Endocrine Challenges.
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
- Review recent findings on neonatal thyroid disorders
- Identify the underlying etiologies of growth disorders and understand new concepts in the diagnosis and management of short stature
- Review the key findings from the US Type 1 Diabetes COVID19 Surveillance Project 21st Annual Symposium Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes
