Overview
Program Chair Ron El-Hawary, MD and Program Co-chair Ying Li, MD invite you to join us in Scottsdale for the 18th International Congress on Early Onset Scoliosis and the Growing Spine (ICEOS), the world’s leading conference addressing complex scoliosis in the growing child. Known for its highly interactive and collegial atmosphere, the meeting will attract approximately 175 surgeons and allied health professionals from around the world. The program will include outstanding free papers, expert lectures, panel discussions, and workshops.
Learning Objectives
As a result of this activity, participants should be better able to:
■ Describe the indications and rationale for the surgical management of various pediatric spinal deformity and related disorders, including the role of early surgery to treat growing spine deformities.
■ Discuss the latest surgical techniques used to manage various pediatric spinal deformities in the growing child, including master’s tips and tricks for EOS care.
■ Discuss approaches to preventing and managing complications in early onset scoliosis.
Target Audience
This course is designed for orthopedic and neurological surgeons, fellows, and residents who include pediatric spinal deformity surgery in their practices. Nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and physicians providing non-operative care of spinal deformities may also benefit from the course.
Accreditation
