OVERVIEW
Join this hybrid program in person or virtually. We will update on recent developments in the management of patients with advanced liver disease including recent improvements in the management of metabolic-associated liver disease, GI and Hepatic side effects immunotherapy, and use of TIPS for complications of portal hypertension. In addition, updates on MELD 3.0 in liver transplantation allocation, managing alcohol use disorder, assessment and management of frail LT candidates, how to assess coronary artery disease in patients with cirrhosis, and the use of extacorporeal machine perfusion of donor livers will be provided. After completing this activity, participants will understand and be able to implement in their practice recent developments in the management of patients with advanced liver disease.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of this activity, participant will understand and be able to implement:
- Newer approaches to the use of weight loss agents and other medications in patients with metabolic associated liver disease
- Appropriate diagnostic tools and treatment strategies for patients with Immunotherapy related colitis and hepatitis
- How and when to place a TIPS for cirrhotics with GI bleeding and refractory ascites
- Use of the MELD 3.0 scoring system in liver transplant candidates
- How to assess and treat malnutrition and fraility in patients with advanced cirrhosis
- How to diagnose and treat coronary artery disease and valvular heart disease in patients with cirrhosis
- Potential use of normothermic and hypothermic perfusion of livers in the transplant setting
