OVERVIEW
The Diabetes Symposium is a one-day course designed to provide endocrinologists, primary care physicians, cardiologists, and associated professionals with updated information on novel and optimal therapies for the treatment of diabetes, including evidence-based intervention strategies, weight reduction strategies, new diabetes technologies and insulin formulations, and more.
ACCREDITATION
Texas Heart Institute is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Texas Heart Institute designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 8.25 Medical Knowledge MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity providers responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit. Successful completion is a passing grade of 70% on the assessment in the CME evaluation.
