MD Anderson’s Tobacco Treatment Training Program trains health care providers and health professionals to become credentialed tobacco treatment specialists for their organizations and communities. This channel shares a preview of the sessions covered during our live training. Registration for the program is required and is accessible through our website. Participants may receive up to 30 hours of Continuing Education and will become a tobacco treatment specialist (TTS) after successful completion of requirements. Become a credentialed Tobacco Treatment Specialist through The University of Texas MD Anderson’s Tobacco Treatment Training Program. Accredited by the Council for Tobacco Treatment Training Programs (CTTTP). This is a preview of the five-day virtual training course designed for healthcare professionals interested in becoming credentialed as a Tobacco Treatment Specialist (TTS). The program is focused on the skills needed to effectively deliver tobacco cessation treatment in both a clinic and community setting. Participants are eligible for up to 32 Continuing Education (CE) hours and registration is required to attend. We offer a one-day prescriber’s track which focuses on pharmacotherapy and treatment planning. For future training dates, registration rates or additional information please visit our website or email us at ctts@mdanderson.org.
