Vasculearn Network
Founded in 2006, the North American Thrombosis Forum (NATF) was born from a passion to educate both the medical community and the public about life-threatening blood clotting disorders such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE). As our understanding of thrombosis evolved, so did our focus. It became clear that thrombosis was linked to a broader range of cardiovascular conditions, including atrial fibrillation, stroke, heart attack, cancer, diabetes, and obesity. In response, we expanded our educational efforts to better reflect these connections.
In 2024, our journey evolved once again and we became Vasculearn Network (VLN), a committed group of healthcare leaders alongside patients, caregivers, and families. Together, we’re educating people about real-world experiences and cutting-edge research to help the world better manage blood clots and related conditions with confidence.
Mission: Vasculearn Network is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by blood clots and related diseases. Through our comprehensive resources and innovative programming, we strive to educate patients and clinicians about thrombosis and its complications.
Vision: To be the premier educational resource on blood clots and related diseases.
