read more ↘ anchors medially. I believe we should maximize the footprint to encourage healing since tendon heals to bone, not to anchors. The 2.6 mm anchor results in minimal footprint violation (maximum bone preservation) compared to hard body anchors which are 2x the size. There is also time savings via the self-punching aspect. The knotless mechanism can be used to create a medial mattress configuration as well to improve strength or create a rip-stop configuration as show in this video.
