The 2.6 mm anchor results in minimal footprint violation (maximum bone preservation) compared to hard body anchors which are 2x the size. There is also time savings via the self-punching aspect. The knotless mechanism can be used to create a medial mattress configuration as well to improve strength or create a rip-stop configuration as show in this video.
