Migraine Canada
Migraine Canada™ is a registered charity supporting the fight against stigma for all Canadians living with migraine and related headache conditions. Migraine, a neurological brain disease, affects individuals indiscriminately. Despite its widespread impact and severe implications on daily living, no cure exists, and societal recognition as a legitimate disability remains elusive. This often results in significant social stigma, leaving the approximately 25% of Canadian households affected by migraine to also contend with mental health challenges such as anxiety and depression. We seek to elevate public understanding of migraine, counter the stigma, and enhance the quality of life for the over 5 million Canadians affected by this severe neurological disease.
