Secondary Headache Evaluation

Alicia, our APP2APP Headache specialist, explains how to differentiate between primary and secondary HA. Alicia will discuss the SNOOP-4 criteria, which will help you discern if your patient requires emergency care. Up to 18% of patient’s presenting to tertiary care centers have underlying secondary cause for headache. Primary headache patients can also develop secondary headaches that are important to identify.
