Migraine Medication Update

Alicia, our APP2APP Headache specialist, is the Program Director of the Headache Clinic in Genesis Health Care System in Davenport, IA. She discusses the newest drugs on the market to treat Headache. Alicia will discuss new oral medications such as gepants, which target and reduce CGRP (calcitonin gene-related peptide) reducing inflammation, ditans (lasmiditan), new injections that have recently come to market, as well as the newest monoclonal antibody infusion that targets CGRP (eptinezumab).
