Tanmay Swadia, MD, shares two cases of patients with right ventricular (RV) cardiogenic shock. Case one is a 65-year-old male with acute massive pulmonary embolism with RV shock. In this patient, Dr. Swadia highlights that Impella RP support “led to this U-turn in his course and gave him back a completely normal life afterward.” Case two is a 36-year-old male who presents with recurrent PEA arrests after a noncardiac outpatient procedure.
